About Volaertus
Volaertus (/vol-aer-tus/), is a portmanteau which means it is made of a blend from two or more words or forms; in this case, the two words were volare and certus. Volare means “to fly”, or “flight”, in Latin. Certus means “certain”, or “accurately”, in Latin
Our Mission
Our mission is to deliver exceptional drone components and technical knowledge in a competitively priced, fast, and simplified manner to aspiring, established, and returning FPV Drone pilots.
There are two types of FPV pilots:
- Those who have crashed,
- and those who will.
No one likes doing something they suck at. Getting into this hobby can be a brutal experience, and this is how Volaertus was born. Anyone can sell FPV drone products, but few can provide what customers need most: knowledge. This hobby is similar to going on an epic quest with a small chance of success due to its steep learning curve.
We set out to create a place where we can provide not only great products, but a great repository of knowledge for our customers. Free, simple, and accurate information is difficult to come by, and we plan on changing that while building a loyal community of likeminded individuals who can share the love of flight.
Volaertus was founded with the goal of helping customers find great products and enabling them to use their gear to the utmost ability. We will perpetually update our Blog and YouTube channel on top of working with amazing brands to deliver the ultimate FPV experience and In-Flight Precision all of us pilots ultimately seek.
In-Flight Precision is our goal for every one of our customers, and we intend on delivering it through education and great products.

What Makes Us Different?
Design
We hand pick the brands we work with, and we bring customers on the journey of product development through our YouTube channel. Whether you buy a product we resell, or a product we manufactured ourselves, you can rest assured knowing we have a great relationship with the brand and tried it out ourselves. We know how difficult it is to find good FPV gear, so you can count on the products we sell to deliver.
Manufacturing
If you’re buying 3D printed items, we make those in-house with our small, but growing, fleet of 3D printers just for Drone parts! If you buy something that we resell, we only work with brands that have proven to deliver quality products over and over again. If you’re buying something we made, there is a good chance it was documented on YouTube so do a search for the product and learn about what it took to create it.
